As always, Toshiba put on a terrific show with the theme this year being advanced technology. Since the location for the line show was New Mexico, Area 51 was invoked as the ideal location for keeping advanced technology secrets. Toshiba married the advanced technology concept with their integrated marketing message that "Image is Everything." And, for Toshiba, it certainly is!"</i><br /><br />Designtechnica has a nice round-up of the Toshiba and Hitachi lines. It is heavy on displays, but also includes a Toshiba MP3 player and HD DVD player.

I love seeing all the new tech in one place.
Looking at TV specs, looks like when all the HD devices come out, I'll need converters to get the stuff to work on my TV-- Composite-in and DVI-in aren't even mentioned on any of those TVs, so the components probably will all be HDMI and/or IEEE-whatever. I'm sure there will be converters, but my hi-tech plasma will feel like it's meant for the basement! Y'know that TV that only has a composite in and no s-video in and stuff like that.
