Tere were all kind of solutions for regular TV viewing, but Matsu****a (Panasonic) presents the first real Digital TV tuner for your car (630 EUR)."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/Matsu****aCarDTV.jpg" /><br /><br />I personally think that 630 Euros is a bit steep for a digital TV tuner for the car. Not forgetting that it can be dangerous to drive and watch TV at the same time. ;)

It's scary how many people are now putting monitors into driver-viewable positions in vehicles. Especially scary when they are in the steering wheel or driver's console.

I'm a gadget freak, but personally I think that all this money that's being wasted on getting 32" inch tvs, subwoofers, toilets, ovens and what-have-yous to cars would be better used to improve the safety of the cars.

Having even a simple SMS connected to your air bag system that would inform the authorities about a severe accident immediately would save thousands of lifes each year.

But .. Nah, glove compartment fridge is much fancier.
