This outsider plays an important role however in a segment where we would not expect it: the Pocket Photo/Video camera. This dominance in good market share is due to the success of the Xacti C range. I have a C4 that I bought not too long ago that I'm pretty happy with. I'm glad to hear the the C5 isn't much better so I don't need to feel badly about my purchase.

I really like the C4....Low light quality isn't that great....but flash pics and video are great.

People always ask about the camera too whenever they see me using it. It's size (and the fact that I have the orange colored version) really take people back.

Even a clown at the Ringling Bros Circus stopped and asked where I got it! :D

By the way....I got mine on ebay, brand new fron HongKong for a very good price under $400, if I remember right from a seller named 'x1387'. There is also another guy named 'bestsellerhk2002' that is dependable as well.

I saw the Fisher version of the C1 in the Apple store for something like $699!!!!!! 8O
