Canon EOS Digital Rebel and High-Speed CF Cards

I just bought one on eBay and I'm wondering if anyone knows if this camera takes advantage of the high speed CF cards.

Anyone have any idea? Canon's site doesn't mention it.

While I can't give you detailed specifics, I can tell you that it will only take limited advantage of them. The Rebel's biggest drawback is speed (IMHO), however I did see some small improvements after I bought a high speed card, at least. There is a site out there that has thoroughly tested card speed with different cameras, including the Rebel, but I don't seem to have a bookmark for it anymore. It might have been on DPReview, but I'm not sure.

The camera writes it to the buffer in the camera first before writing to the card.
