View Full Version : My RF Modulator is not cutting it anymore, I need more ins and outs

Currently I'm using an RF Modulator to connect my TV, VCR, DVD Player, and Analog Cable together. And it was good.

front (http://www.circumspect.net/gadgets/images/RF_Modulator_Front.JPG)
back (http://www.circumspect.net/gadgets/images/RF_Modulator_Unplugged.JPG)

Basically the DVD player came into the RF. The Cable went into the VCR and the VCR coax when into the RF. Then the RF coax went into the TV.

But now I want to expand. I need an audio out to run into my stereo (my TV has not audio out) and more inputs for the HTPC that I'm putting together.

My question is, does anyone know where I can find a RF modulator with more video inputs and an audio out?
I've searched local radio shacks, best buys and circuit cities. No luck. Anyone know of a good Audio Video store? Perhaps online?

Surely someone must have some ideas?

Okay, how about this. Lets take it from one step back.
TV - Audio-in (front), Video-in (front), coaxial jack (back).
VCR
DVD Player
Analog Cable (no box, just cable from wall)
Future: Home Theatre PC.

I need to be able to connect these guys together, and channel the sound through my stereo which has audio-in (obviously).

Any ideas? Pointers on Audio/Video stores that I can search online?

thanks
