It will play most anything and looks pretty compact. Pricing will make or break this item. Probably break. But still, with a name like "Media Flask" how can you go wrong! :drinking:

Wow, it supports divx and wmv as well as mpeg2. I wonder what resolution and bit streams it can handle? This would be an amazing and compact portable media player. no need to have things on dvd and hope your destination has a dvd player or pc available, just copy what you want to show your friends (even if you just rip the dvd to it), and hook it up to their tv or pc.

no doubt about it though, if this things compatability factor is good, alot of people and buisnesses can make great use of this thing.

Looks pretty cool, but no WMV support? Darn! I use WMV a lot and would need that. Progressive scan component video out is slick, though it would be a hassle to have to carry a bulky cable with you. Someone needs to invent retractable cables in one of these things...

I actually have a few of these units for sale - Imported them directly from wygobite.

They come brand new in box with all accessories and cables for $150.

I have kept one for my home theater and it is pretty good - I also have the Mediagate MG-25 and both unit are comparable but the Mvolt100 as a better compatibility rate and better built quality.
The remote is pretty functional and you can also load ripped DVDs on the unit - During my tests I was not able to browse the menus but was able to change the sound (english/french/..) and subtitles while watching a vob file.

I know I am new here but you can also check my ebay profile (under the username Howdoin) or I am also an active member at the following forums:

email me if you have any questions.

Thank you.
