Eh, this is a scanning back, and this is not really meant for a medium format camera; what you see here is a large format monorail.

I was thinking that, but I wasn't too sure and the Engadget writeup called it medium format. My Dad used to use one of these if I remember correctly years ago, but I was too young to care. I don't remember much from the mid 1970's...
