I like what systems like Windows Media Centre offer but it is quite expensive and I've already got a PVR courtesy of our satellite provider.
What caught my eye over the weekend was Philips RC9800i remote control: http://www.homecontrol.philips.com/. I'm currently a Pronto user and I liked the look of this device - it takes the universal remote control concept to an interesting next level where it can access music & pictures from your PC over a Wi-Fi link.
Looking at http://en.streamium.com/whatisstreamium/how/, though, this looks to be just the start!
Anyone else looked at this sort of concept for their own home?
