There are single-use products out there that use the term "digital" in marketing, but as far as I know, CVS has just introduced the only one that's actually a digital camera. And it delivers what only digital can: a preview screen and the ability to delete lousy shots. It's nice and compact, a 2-megapixel camera with a 1.4-in. color screen on the back that is surrounded by all of the instructions you're ever going to need. In addition to reviewing and deleting shots, you can set a 10-second timer."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/photo_cvs.jpg" /><br /><br />Not a bad product, unlike 35mm disposable cameras, you can view the photo that you just took. That alone might be worth the extra price. You are limited to only 25 shots, but at least you can preview them before turning the camera in for processing.

Place your bets, how long do you think it will take for it to be hacked allowing the user to pull off the pictures themselves.

"disposable" digital cameras have been out for a while. over a year atleast. Usualy you found them in your local camera store. Same price model as this, 25 or so shots, you send it in and get your images. And yes they got hacked too.. mainly you build a usb port for it. Looks like the new cvs cameras incporperate a little encryption, but its just a matter of time. The thing is the image quality may not be worth it. especialy when your limited to around 25 images before you need to hook it up to a pc.
