And so ArchosFans went to work and delivered this AVI-file as a result."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/archosPMA430.jpg" /><br /><br />What a great idea. Review a personal media player by video. Anyway the video is quite large (over 50 megs), but if you are interested in seeing how a Linux based PMP works, check it out.

haha, the review is laughably bad. The entire taping was taken in one take, by someone who has only a small grasp on the english language (hes french) and has no idea how to properly review and item, has corny music, and alot of camera time was spent on stuff we didn't need to see.. like a complete pan of the outside of the box with the shrink wrap still on making it hard to actually see anything on the box. And him completely unpacking it while the camera is just sitting on his desk.

Oh..and not a single second of video playback footage in this first 8 minute review. He viewed some pictures, edited a text file.. and browsed the internet on it using opera. /smack

The unit looks kinda slick though... if the playback is good... I may actually need to really consider this sucker.

Edit: just saw the price... I take that back. At $800 bucks, I could buy TWO compeating portable media player devices.
