Ok, lame subject title I know - but I am trying to figure out whether it really is worth it to switch over to Mac. I am finding the pull of Garageband incrediblly overwhelming! 8)
I mean - wow - I was surfing through Apple.com and they have some wicked software available on that platform. I have been hardcore PC user since day one but apps such as Garageband and iMovie make a switch to the "cult of Mac" very tempting. :oops:
So I want to know : is there an equlivalent software package for PC's that is as easy to use and affordable as Garageband? If so what? where can I DL a demo? :?:
Also, What sort of preamp works best with this kind of software? (more of a question for current users of said software) I am a bassist :rock on dude!: so I would need something that could handle the low end without distorting.
