Chief Executive Curt Marvis told Reuters that NBC Universal -- the General Electric Co division that runs Universal Pictures and broadcaster NBC -- had been reluctant to offer content to download and store, but was now willing to offer video streams of films and TV shows that are not stored."</i><br /><br />Is this the mark of a new beginning for television? Will we be seeing move for pay-per-view to the online world? I can just hope that this is a sign of the TV studios moving into providing more legal ways of downloading TV series for home viewing in the (very) near future. ;)
