As for audio performance and user interface, imagine a Creative Zen Micro with Dell's trademark roller and buttons instead of the touch-sensitive front panel—but minus the FM radio and extras like the Outlook calendar."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/0,1311,sz=1&i=89827,00.jpg" /><br /><br />I've seen almost nothing but good reviews for the Dell Pocket DJ, but I have yet to see one in use. There doesn't seem much to distinguish the Zen Micro from the Dell except for the FM tuner, so if you are wishing you had a Zen Micro but are just a little short on cash, the Pocket DJ just might just be up you alley.

And yet no one is buying them. I wonder why?

I'll give two reasons :) One, I don't recall ever seeing an ad for it. Two, it's UGLY!

why is a mp3 not having a calendar or contact option a minus? That has got to be the dumbest think I’ve heard in a while. That like buying a car and saying "its perfect but it just doesn’t have a toaster!" Im sorry....but the point of a mp3 player is to play music...not look up appointments. I have a major issues with a lot of these reviewers these days doing that. I find more and more people fail to rate products for what they are and what they do as opposed to what something else has or what they think it could do....aka CNET! bunch of fools over there.

On the dell.ca website, the Pocket 5GB version is CDN$279 while the larger 20GB version is only $299.
I know that size matters, but for $20 more to get an extra 15GB of storage?
Is the Pocket "newer" suggesting that the 20GB version will be soon revised?
Does anyone have a DellDJ?

The pocket dj is much smaller in size than the 20gb version.
