Hewlett-Packard is reportedly quarreling with Apple over a lack of price protection offered with the iPods it manufacturers through the Mac maker, possibly explaining why the two companies have yet to set a date for the rollout of the HP-branded iPod photo."</i><br /><br />Interesting, though I doubt this will have any impact on iPod sales. Excuse me, I mean the Apple iPod from HP. I'll never understand why Apple struck this agreement with HP in the first place. HP is doing nothing to add value to the iPod, other than selling printer ink to make ugly peel'n'stick covers.

Wasn't there another part of the agreement that HP would ship machines with iTunes pre-installed?

If thats the case, then there was some benefit of increased market penetration.
