In what has been described as a device similar to XM's XM2Go services, this new system would allow a user to preload the unit with content including songs, video, graphics, and text. This device would then allow that user to play "intelligent streams" even when a signal is not available. Plans are also in place that would permit users of the new device to purchase songs that they wish to store more permanetly."</i><br /><br />Sigh... When will <a href="http://www.rambus.com/">these companies</a> learn that innovation breeds success, not patents.

You mean, exactly like when you take an MP3 player and load songs on it to play later? What an amazing idea! No one's ever thought of that before. When are we going to stop giving patents to people for (sorry) patently obvious variations on things we've been doing for decades?
