Measuring a trim 2.0 by 3.5 by 0.6 inches, the Micro HDD is an audio jukebox that's about the size of Apple's iPod Mini but is equipped with a bigger 5GB hard drive. In addition, the player supports MP3, WMA, and secure WMA file formats and is even compatible with the Janus Subscription DRM. Better still, the Micro HDD displays JPEG images on its 1.6-inch LCD color screen and can function as an external hard drive for transporting files between PCs."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/SamsungYH820_01_300.gif" /><br /><br />Samsung continues to crank out some impressive products, although I still have to question the usefulness of a scren that small for displaying photos. They have a video of it - and speaking of videos, someone from C|NET interviewed me on video discussing the iMate Jam, but I don't see it on their <a href="http://www.cnet.com/4520-10602_1-5600259-1.html?tag=vid">video page</a>. I guess I'm on the digital cutting room floor somewhere. ;-)

These type of devices probably make a very good and expensive photo-in-your-wallet replacements! =P And they play music too, what a bonus!

The only problem I have with devices such as this is the size of the screen. While I realize that's not an issue for some folks, if I have to put on glasses to see the picture, I'll look elsewhere (pun intended.) I bought an iPaq HX4705 specifically to view pictures on when I'm away from my PC. Its 4 inch screen is far better than the screens on any of my cameras.

It would be cool if it would automatically display the album art that's in the folder which the music is playing from, similar to what WMP does.
