I figured I'd kick off phase two of this contest with where it all begins: the operating system. For those of us on the PC side of the fence, Windows XP is where it's at. It's fast, powerful, stable, and has great support for all sorts of digital media hardware and software.

Microsoft was kind enough to donate 10 copies of this software to us, valued at $279 USD each, so this is a $2790 giveaway. And the winners are...Toddard, AKBishop, dmt9999, timmy, Dbecker 6, attisb, lipinski77, tliles, Shagin099, and ddavtian. Each winner has been sent an email, so they should check the email addresses that they have registered in our system - I need each of them to send me their mailing address. Thanks everyone, and good luck on the next contest. :-D

Congrats guys!

Microsoft is good at giving things away..... I've won a few things over the years at their User Group meetings that they host/sponsor...

I'm hoping I win something from site..

WOW, I'm one lucky winner!

Thanks to this great site, Jason and you all for your congratulations.

I was checking my email on my pocket pc (enjoying my new SprintPCS LG325 with bluetooth :-)) and saw the message subject: you have won ....

I didn't even open it and I'm glad I didn't delete it immediately. Later at home opened it and wow.
My wife still thinks there is a catch here, you cannot just win $300 software for nothing. I can't wait to get the software and show it to her, my friends and coworkers (many of them already have been notified about my prize).

Santa has been good to me this year (before even the Christmas), first my new media center tv (I love it), then the first bluetooth phone, then this.

You all have great holidays.
Thanks again,
David
