Digital Media Thoughts is a little over eight months old, and when we first launched we announced a gigantic content with over $26,000 USD in prizes. We got such fantastic responses from supportive vendors that we ended up with 175 individual prizes! This turned out to be a bit of an administrative nightmare (ok, a BIG one), so we've been doing the giveaways in spurts because it's a very intensive process to pick the winners, contact them, ship the products, etc. We've had a couple of weeks to rest up from our last round of giveaways, and now it's time to push through and give away the rest of our prizes. What's still up for grabs? Glad you asked...

• Magicstor GS 2.2 GB PLUS magicstor CompactFlash hard drive (value: $199 USD)
• Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition x 2 (value: $3999 USD each)
• Windows XP Professional Full Version x 10 (value: $289.99 USD each)
• Plus! Digital Media Edition x 20 (value: $19.95 USD each)
• Creative Labs NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra (value: $299 USD)
• muvee AutoProducer 4.0 MX x 20 (value: $69.95 USD each)
• DVD Maker 6.5 Platinum x 2 (value: $49.95 USD each)
• Vaja Cases $100 Gift Certificate x 2 (value: $100 USD each)
• Ritek 8x DVD-R discs, 50 pack x 5 (value: $46.99 USD each)
• Roadwired Photo/Video Convertible Bag (value: $124.95 USD)
• Roadwired Photo/Video Pro Bag (value: $179.95 USD)
• Roadwired "The Pod" bag (value: $49.95 USD)
• Roadwired MegaMedia Bag (value: $179.95 USD)
• Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 x 3 (value: $99 USD each)
• SnapStream Beyond TV3 (value: $59.99 USD)
• SnapStream Beyond TV3 with Hauppauge WinTV-PVR250 (value: $139.99 USD)
• Ulead PhotoImpact 10 x 5 (value: $89.95 USD each)
• Ulead VideoStudio 8 x 10 (value: $99.95 USD each)
• Verbatim Pack: USB Store 'n Go 32 MB, DigitalMovie DVD+R 3 pack, Digital Vinyl CD-R 5 pack, x 3 bundles (value: $63.99 USD each)

The total value? A whopping $16,451.78 - more than half of the total prizes! We're going to be starting these giveaways on Wednesday the 22nd, so make sure you're registered in our forums (that's all you have to do to be eligible to win).

And if this is the first time you've heard about this contest, please check out our original announcement for rules, etc.

Yikes! I didn't know there were so many prizes left!

I know - on one hand, it's a testament to the work we put into getting the prizes, on the other hand, it's embarrassing that we're having TROUBLE giving away FREE STUFF.

I've been registered for a little while.

How are winners chosen?

Who must I bribe?

...I could offer up my daughter, if that'll help. She's quite....handsome.

I've been lurking here off and on, as I love gadgets. This kind of contest is a great way to lure new users into the site though. I first go hooked on PPCThoughts by the New Years Day contest a few years ago.

I love my little Sony DSC-T1, and seeing as I'm a point & click guy, it's all the camera I really need. It's still good to see what else is out there though.

First off, I'll let you keep your daughter - I don't think my wife would approve. ;-)

How are winners chosen?

Winners will be randomly chosen based on all registered users - although some of the contests may be more creative, including picking people who respond to a particular thread within a certain time frame. Depends on my mood. ;-)

Might as well introduce myself.

I live in brooklyn ny, and go to brooklyn tech high school. I have a dell dj 15gb jukebox, a hp rx3715, and a kodak dx4530 digicam

I have owned a dell axim x30 high, mid, hp 5455, toshiba e355, 2 other mp3 players that broke, sharp viewcam, and a panasonic palm cam(nothing compact about it, really!).

I love my kodak 5mp camera...the pictures are clear and vibrant.

Im also a reviewer for pocketgamer.org ...which reminds me that I must finish up my first review! lol.

My favorite picture has got to be this one, simply because of how huge it is!:

http://triton.tpd.tno.nl/gigazoom/Delft2.htm

2.5 gigapixel! (taken with many shots of course, wieghs in at around 7gb!)

Very True. Contests are a messy business. With how time consuming the previous one's were (who replies to emails, who doesnt, relisting the items, etc)...I could see how it's hard to make time for 'em. I'm just razzing! For some strange reason, I made it my duty. Just another sign of how desperately I need a life! :D

Kursplat

Plus, the longer he waits, the more members, and the lesser the odds of us winning. So, we need to run through the prizes quickly so we have a better chance of winning!

So what's left on the list to give away? Hopefully something cool for Mac users since I just got a Mini and could use some new toys for it.

Ok, so here's the deal: because it's been SO long since I started this contest, at this point I need to (with an embarrassed look on my face) email all the remaining vendors and ask them if they're still even interested in donating the prizes to this contest. The hard truth is that some may not be, simply because it's been so long. I'm never going to do such a huge, complicated contest again.
