Designed jointly by GapKids, the Gap's arm for children's clothing, and toy maker Wild Planet, the "Hoodio" will be available in stores Monday. "Wearable technology is the latest innovation in the apparel, electronic and toy industries, and we're excited to be at the forefront of this trend by partnering with Wild Planet to create a kids' product as cool and interactive as the Hoodio," GapKids Vice President Mark Breitbard said in a statement."</i><br /><br />Oh dear God. It's bad enough to see punk kids walking around in public flaunting iPods, and now this? What happens when you run it through the wash? Electronics and water don't exactly go well together. <br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/gaphoodie_400x744.jpg" />

I think that text along with the picture gives a false impression. It's a hoodio as in hood and radio. I don't think the GAP is releasing "GANGSTA" apparel for the kiddies. :silly: :2gunfire:  :vamp:

Did DMT add that text? It's not in the source.

(Me edits too slowly. lol)

That was my doing. I just like to poke fun of retailers and fashion labels that try to portray white suburban kids as gangsta hipsters. Too funny.
