Dream, a new Manhattan four-star, is one of the latest boutique hotels to offer guests the use of Apple's popular music gadget during their stay. The iPods come preloaded with as many as 2,000 songs and are available for each of the Dream's 200 rooms, said Dream spokesman Andy Patrizia."</i><br /><br />Pretty clever idea! One of my favorite hotel chains to stay at is the "W" hotels - I find their rooms and general hotel design incredibly soothing and peaceful. The first time I was staying at a W hotel I came back during the evening and was surprised to hear that they had turned on a CD player with some soothing music. I loved it! This takes the concept a step further by offering hotel customers an iPod with 2000 songs on it. You could do it with any audio player of course, but the iPod is the trendy audio player of the moment, so it's not surprising to see them used. Ever stayed at a hotel that did something especially cool?
