Even on a relatively fast computer, it takes a good 10+ seconds to fully load and when I just want to crop and resize a photo, I'm looking for speed - so I usually end up using ACD FotoCanvas, which is fast and simple. Ulead used to be the king of the consumer-level photo/video world, but lately I haven't been as impressed - UI and features seem years behind what their competitors are doing. Let's hope PhotoImpact 10 is a step in the right direction!
