They'll be especially harsh on computer based stuff, since pretty much every computer is connected to the internet these days and the Flag is supposed to suppress the ability to trade shows online."</i><br /><br />I can't remember whether we have posted on this before but in case you have forgotten, it is only 10 months until we will all be suffering with the broadcast flag. So how will this affect users? Well, we will all presumably be buying products as always and then later on realizing how we can't use video streaming or sharing features that products like SnapStream and Windows Media Center Edition will have for HDTV signals. This article gives some good information on the broadcast flag, and how it will affect different kinds of users. Clearly the folks at PVRBlog are upset by this news and already working on their protests.
