http://www.nikon.co.jp/main/index_e.htm

"Nikon hits us hard this morning: the one for the pros, the 12.4 megapixel D2X is Nikon’s followup to their D1X digital SLR and like it’s predecessor is compatible with all DX Nikkor lenses and is way more camera than most people would know what to do with. Even better, there’s also the WT-2A, an optional 802.11b/g WiFi adapter if you want to wirelessly beam your photos back to your PC or remotely control it from a PC on your wireless network."

So Canon announced all their new cameras two weeks ago and now it is Nikon's turn. The other news cameras include the $999 Nikon Coolpix 8800, an eight megapixel camera with a 10x optical zoom lens and a 1.8-inch flip-out LCD screen that’s the first consumer camera from Nikon that uses the Vibration Reduction anti-shake system; the $899 the eight megapixel Coolpix 8400, with a wide angle, 3.5x optical zoom lens and a 1.8-inch flip-out LCD screen; and finally the $399 four megapixel Coolpix 4800 with a whopping 8.3x optical zoom lens. Joy to the world. :)

Ohhhh... I would really love to have one of these...

But as of now... I even barely have the budget for a D70...
