I have a friend who is interested in creating"cartoon" like animated graphics for incorporation into PowerPoint. Since I have no art ability, I'm not familiar with any. Anybody else have any suggestions that would allow her to build animations with pre-canned shapes and is still reasonbly priced?

Isn't a lot of that done in Flash? I'm sure there are probably other easier ways to do it though.

flash is good....but if have no flash knowledge the easiest (most difficult and painful though) is to make an animated gif (yes draw all the frames :) )

The problem this friend has is the same as mine - little or no art ability. She'd like to find something that has "pre-canned" objects that could be added to a scene and animated.

If you don't mind spending the extra cash, a neat app called "VoxProxy" lets you add little 3D characters to powerpoint presentations. Just write little scripts for guestures and the text-to-speech engine.

Thanks David. I'll mention that one to her.
