Doh! No dual-DVI, so no dice. :? Although, truth be told, I probably wouldn't have wanted this anyway - I do my PVR stuff on another machine, so I'm looking for a straight 3D card.

That's exactly what I thought! No dual-DVI, so no dice. :( Which brings me to a question I've been meaning to ask you... which video card is going in your new SB81P? So far, I haven't found a dual-DVI PCI express card.

If only it had a TV Tuner, :) i.e. the A-I-W version.

Maybe I should have clarified that I meant a dual-DVI PCI express card that isn't in the earth-shattering $600-800 price range 8O  My current dual-DVI 8X AGP card cost me about $125. :)

Besides, I strongly prefer nVidia's dual-monitor implementation (nView) - much better IMHO. Also if I remember correctly, ATI cards don't even have an accelerated second port.

Yeah, that's the bad part - dual-DVI = cutting edge and very expensive it seems. I have yet to find a cheap one, so I'm just accepting the fact that it will be expensive...

I really don't understand why... I bought my Asus FX5200 Video Suite with dual-DVI for $125 last year. It can't increase the manufacturing costs by more than a few dollars (which I'll gladly spend). I don't need to play cutting edge video games, but I'm not going to settle for VGA connections for my monitors.

Gainward has a dual DVI PCI express 6600gt, should be a better price range...
