http://www.pmcplayer.com/

Excited about the forthcoming Microsoft Portable Media Center devices? Diane Dumas from Pocket PC Magazine fame has launched a site devoted to this new category of device. Been hiding under a rock and don't know what a PMC is? Here's how Diane sums it up:

"It's a portable, handheld multimedia device that's Windows Mobile-based and is slightly larger than a Pocket PC, with a similar display screen size and resolution. You can transfer music, videos, and pictures from your desktop PC onto the Portable Media Center's (PMC) hard drive and listen to the music, watch videos, or view pictures on the device. Portable Media Center devices will come with a small internal hard disk drive with 20, 40, or 60 gigabytes of media file storage. Its massive storage capability allows you to bring all the media you want with you, wherever you go. For example, a 40 GB disk can hold 160-180 hours of video, 10,000 songs, and tens of thousands of digital photos. You will be able to watch Windows Media Video files, listen to Windows Media Audio files, and browse through pictures which are in Windows Media Image, JPEG, or TIFF format."

I have some exciting images of the new devices and receiving more information everyday which I post on the PMC player's forum.

If you're thinking about getting a PMC player--I welcome your thoughts!
