The group is also charged with influencing public policy on digital content and delivery technologies. The company's new Media/Entertainment & Technology Convergence Group will be led by Blair Westlake, former chairman of the Universal Television & Networks Group, the company announced this week."</i><br /><br />It's about time - Microsoft has been trying to influence the entertainment industry for some time now, but this is their first organizational effort to focus on that space. Let's hope something good comes of it!
