Oh my. IMHO Digital Media Thoughts should take the same stance (http://backstage.ipodlounge.com/backstage_comments.php?id=4455_0_29_0_M) on these rumors as iPodlounge and not report them. As the guys at iPodlounge stated, rumors are most often false, even more so when Apple is involved. For example, I've heard rumors that the new iPods will be announced as late as August, and that they'll have built in WiFi so that we can create mobile P2P networks. This is a great site, and I love coming here every day to read up on the latest news. But when you start reporting on rumors that we all know are more likely than not false, the site becomes nothing more than an online tech tabloid.

But speculation is half the fun! :D I see your point, but honestly, rumours are part of the game. We try not to get too carried away with them (I don't think we've posted more than a couple of rumours on this site), but when you're talking about a product like the iPod, even the slightest hint gets people excited. If it interests people, why not discuss it? And if it doesn't interest you, you don't have to discuss it. :wink:
