After December 30, 2004 a $75.00 (U.S.) fee will be assessed for the Exhibits Plus Pass, and conference session prices increase to on-site rates. The International CES is open to anyone engaged in the manufacture, distribution, service, wholesale, retail, online, commercial-use or promotion of consumer technology products. The International CES is not open to the general public. No under the age of 16 is permitted on the show floor. </i>"<br /><br />Not a bad idea to register now and save yourself some money (Like who couldn't use extra money in Vegas?). I have not been in years and January is always a tough time for me to take vacation even though I'm only a 45 minute flight away from Las Vegas.<br /><br />Anyone planning on attending?

I would LOVE to go. Unfortunately, however, I fall into the "general public" category. I have been toying with the idea of starting a PDA consulting/training business. Perhaps this is just the incentive I need to take the plunge. Then again, our IT chief used to work for CEA, which runs CES, so maybe I could get her to pull some strings . . . hmmm.

Are you involved in the "commercial-use...of consumer technology"? Do you use your PDA for anything work related? Doesn't that qualify you to go? I don't think they are that strict about it anway.
