Check out the super powerful and versatile Alive WMA MP3 Recorder that can easily create digital audio recordings from a microphone, line-in, streaming audio from the Internet, or music played by WinAMP, Windows Media Player, Quick Time, RealPlayer, Power DVD, VCD, Flash, Games, and more. $30???? 8O

Other than WMA creation, Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) looks practically the same, does more and costs you nothing. Not to mention supporting VST and LADSPA plug-ins! 8)
