Frankly I'm not sure where they came up with the cameras on this list, but here they are in order (1-10); Olympus C-5060, Canon EOS Digital Rebel, Olympus C-8080, Canon PowerShot G5, Nikon Coolpix 8700, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F828, Olympus C-5000, Fujifilm FinePix S7000, Nikon Coolpix 5400 and the Leica Digilux 2. I can see a couple of glaring omissions including the Nikon D70, Canon Powershot 50/60 and Canon Powershot Pro 1. The inclusion of the Leica Digilux 2 is amazing since there are much better cameras at much lower prices. :? The list seems to be built upon their own ratings from individual reviews, so a better title might be, "Top 10 Advanced Digital Cameras that PCWorld has gotten around to reviewing".

I could come up with a list of my own Top 10 Digital Cameras, and I can assure you that the Nikon D70 would top that list. :werenotworthy:

Umm, the Canon EOS 10D is also conspicuously missing, in fact I would put that in there over the Digital Rebel. And I would like to say the D70 as well but I don't really want to start a Canon vs. Nikon debate/war ;-).

I agree that both the Canon 10D and the Nikon D70 should be included but, for me, the Canon would be on top. As far as I'm concerned, as long as it says Nikon or Canon (plus a few others), it's top notch. If one single brand was best for everyone, there wouldn't be so many to choose from. :)

Yes James, the D70 would top that list...lol

I hate it when magazines that mostly focus on one topic do a huge feature on another one. Car magazines dont review stoves....y this??

Although I agree with many of your comments (where's the D70?), I think the Leica would be on my personal top 10 as well. Not for image quality (the noise issue), but for ease of use. It truly has a manual feel which in my opinion simply is great, and of which I hope other manufacturers will follow the example.

Yea, you might be right, but it I just don't see it fitting in with the PC World demographic.

Heck, just the look of a Leica camera, makes me want it.

Yeah, but then you look at the Leica's price and take 10 steps back :(.

I think it was just "Reviewed in PCWorld Magazine". 8O
