http://dp-now.com/archives/000767.html

"Prior to Creator 7, Roxio had a big bag of interesting, usually easy to use, utilities – many of which would be of interest to people wanting to edit and organize photos, audio files and video clips and then burn them to CD or DVD in a variety of ways. It's the same with Creator 7, but different. Before Creator 7, the selection of applications were only loosely coordinated – after all, Roxio and Adaptec had, over the years, acquired component programs from a variety of sources. Now, Roxio presents its library of solutions in a much more managed and coordinated fashion. To start with, there is a central application and project launcher. All you need to get there is to launch the Creator 7 'Home' application."

"Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 is polished up and logically optimized and ordered assemblage of mainly familiar components, many of which have been featured in previous Roxio incarnations. The centralized access to these components via the new Media Manager is handy but it is less of a fundamental improvement than Roxio might want you to think. All the component programs now have a common style to them and they may work more closely together, but nitpickers will still argue that this continues to be a loosely managed collection of utilities."

I currently use Creator 6 and am quite happy with it. Creator 7 seems a lot more bloated with a lot more functionality, all from one common UI. The reviewer generally likes this software, however does have a few nitpicks. Read the review to find out more.

I really developed a grudge against EasyCD Creator back in the 4.0 and 5.0 days, but .70 looks much nicer. I should probably give it a try. ;-)

Shouldn't there be a link, other than to the screenshot, somewhere in Suhit's post? ;)

Hmm that is odd. I don't see the link either even though when I try and edit the post, it is there. Here it is for now until we figure this out - http://dp-now.com/archives/000767.html
