I have the RoadWired CD player and CD's case. Really good stuff! I am in a real need for a "The Pod" bag!

Sweet! The Mega Media Bag is on my birthday/Christmas list. I have the Pod's big brother, Podzilla, which I use for all my iPAQ gear and portable DVD player when I travel. It's awesome.

Did you ever find it cumbersome?

Did you ever find it cumbersome?

Not at all. I don't use it for every day purposes; just for when I'm traveling. Having all my gear in one bag makes it easier to deal with on airplanes because I can put my briefcase, which is much bigger, bulkier, and thus has a bigger footprint, in the overhead storage compartment. Podzilla with all the gear that I can make use of on long flights fits nicely under the seat and gives me more leg room. It also helps me keep track of my stuff better than if I was just trying to cram it all in my briefcase. I love it. Now, for daily use, I would want something smaller, but I generally just keep my iPAQ, headphones and SDIO camera in the organizer flap of my briefcase.

Here is a list of the gear that I put in the Podzilla when I travel:

iPAQ 5455
AC adapter
micro keyboard
stowaway keyboard (sometimes, depending on the nature of the trip)
2 spare batteries for the iPAQ
spare battery charger
SDIO camera
Sony personal DVD player
Noise-canceling headphones
regular headphones
DVDs
Minolta digital camera
Sony travel speakers (sometimes, depending on the length of the trip)

So, as you can see, it can fit a lot of gear! :D

I totally understand that it fits a lot of gear. But my question is about the comfort of carrying the bag itself on a day to day basis. I like to carry all my digital stuff plus a book or two, my swiss army knife, plus the latest copy of the Economist, sometimes I will have a newspaper and there are always some research paper that I end up carrying. So either I carry two bags, one for all my digital stuff (a Canon camera bag) and the other for the rest plus laptop; or I (and this is what I end up doing more) have a High Design shoulder leather bag which fits everything. The first method is too cumbersome and the second is too heavy. I guess I am looking for something that will manage weight better.
