Well, I'm finally getting a Windows Media Center PC. I've had my eye on them for sometime, but didn't want to spend the money (still don't, this one is a gift). I probably would have bought one on my own eventually, but I like this way better. :)

I'm getting the Gateway FMC-901X model -

Anyone here have one of these and have thoughts on how I should set it up, or tweaks to make better use of it? I'm sure I'll spend way too much time playing with all the features (I've even downloaded the SDK already, may try to write a couple of small apps). Anyway, looks like a cool unit, and I'm looking forward to getting it.

Ed Hansberry has one of those and he really likes it! Seems like a great choice.

I have a Media Edition PC from HP. I love this thing! I use the DVR feature all the time. I am thinking of buying a second one to put in with my AV gear.

Why don't you use the same one to do both tasks?
