Nikon really got just about everything right, offering a lot more features and capability than the Digital Rebel, at only a slight premium in price. And the lens that ships as part of the kit is a bargain too, at an incremental cost of $300 for a very nice piece of optics."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/ZD70A.JPG" /><br /><br />The camera is still looking just as sweet as before :).

This is indeed a fantastic camera. I bought the first unit from the most popular retailer in Sweden on March 18. Made sense to get this since we already had Nikon lenses and other equipment that goes very well with this camera.

Awesome image quality! Fast. Easy to use. I am a fan! 8)

I wouldn't dare to use a D70 on a mini tripod either. =P
