300 charging cycles.... so after watching 300 movies (doubt that this will last for more than a movie) I will have to get a new battery?

Good call; I didn't notice that. And I'll bet a battery of that size is not cheap to replace.

But it looks really cool !! I just don't get the inch thing. So, if it's 7 inches, how come it looks bigger than a 15 inch computer screen on the pictures?!?!?!?!?!

I think I saw a dummy model of this at Best Buy yesterday. I think the price was around $400. I can't find any pricing on their site. Did anyone else?

No price on their site, but it's 332$ at this online store (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/erwincomputers/acawpotadvdp.html).

That seems...shockingly affordable. :D

Yeees, that's what I thought, too, but...

OTOH, at 4400mAH, they probably expect you to charge it once every two days or so? Maybe that is how they expect the device to last anything more than a year?!? :?

Probably. How many of you watch a DVD every single day though? If you do, you need a better job or a new hobby. 300 charging cycles would likely last 2-3 years for most people I'm willing to bet. And remember that's 300 full charging cycles - Pocket PCs and other devices are no different. If you use 30% of the power and recharge it, that only counts as 1/3rd of a charge cycle.

 That's funny. I was just thinking of the worst case scenario there ;-).
