These lapstation devices look like a good solution. Anyone own one? Here are the features of the B2 (pictured above) that sells for $99.95 USD:

• Translucent High-impact Polycarbonate Structure
• Ultra Soft Gel Filled Pads
• Premium Quality Dual Suspended Mesh Pouches

They also offer the a less expensive version, the B1 ($69.95), and a pricier B3 ($139.95). I use my laptop quite a bit while watching TV or a movie with my wife, and although I have it on a Laptop Desk, within an hour I'm sweating from the heat my laptop is putting out. This looks like a good solution for getting it up and away from my legs, thus dropping my temperature. Or perhaps I need a new water cooling system...

Neat product, but the three devices shown in the photo are SEVERAL years old (five?).

Yeah, it's time for them to update their photography. I love the huge Mac laptop with the HUGE antenna sticking out of it. ;-)

 .... well, erm, you do realize that's a reading lamp, now don't you. I know it's easy to mistake a lamp for a computer in Apple land, but the other picture gives it way.

Well, um, no, I didn't realize that was a lamp. I thought it was a huge WiFi antenna.

Hey, it's lapdesk week at 'Thoughts' sites! I only finished reading the article about this one (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25209&highlight=lapdesk) over at PPCT a few minutes ago.

Must say I like the concept of this one much better than the 'pillow desk' concept. This one's a *little* pricey, but it looks like it might be considerably more convenient than the roll around the living room laptop stand I'm currently using (which is rather difficult to get into an ergonomically correct position). Might just have to get up off the plastic and try this one. And knowing me, I'll probably spring for the titanium version if I do. :)

With all the crazy hungry media today, a laptop (err...desktop replacement) needs to be a brick (10lbs+) to handle video to a decent degree. Those little taple legs will collapse
