I've used Agenda One in the past. I find it - as with all the replacement tools in this area - is way better than the bundled apps.

I really like the fact that in this version, when you are in the contact list and you hold the down key on the D-pad, that after a certain amount of time, it pops up the letters of the alphabet and scrolls that way (just like the Windows contact manager does). The prior version did not incorporate this feature.
