FYI:
you mentioned a desire to have a "home" button. I'm not sure about the version 2 Zunes but with the version 1 Zunes, if you click and hold down the "back" button, that has the effect of going straight to the home screen; thus, reducing the amount of clicks you have to do in order to get to the home screen.

HAH! I had NO idea that feature existed - nice tip! It works on the v2 Zunes as well as the v1 Zune with the upgraded firmware. Cool. :D

This is one of my most favorite features of the current gen Zune. I'm glad to see they included it in v2 as well :)

The buttons sound a little loud. Any way to click them quietly?

Yup, they are just a SMIDGE louder than the original Zune buttons - they have a bit more "click" to them.
