All you need is a means of connecting your Windows Mobile PDA or Smartphone to the internet."

If you like to blog then here's your chance to blog away. Pocket Watch now has GBlogger and if you have an internet connection, you can blog from anywhere right from your device. This is kind of nice to use when your waiting for an appointment or out and about with free time on your hands. The basic free version throws in a line of advertisement and to get rid of that you can purchase an ad free version for a mere $15 per year.

you can already post to your Blogger blog from anywhere, via email, so you don't need this app to do that. However, posting by email doesn't allow you to post photos or have much control over the way that hyperlinks appear in your post. For that, you need a web browser, or, perhaps an app like this.

midtoad, you're correct that GBlogger provides you with the ability to add hyperlinks, as well as let you do text formatting (bold, italics, blockquote). I also added a simple wizard that lets you drop in YouTube videos into your post. All you have to do is enter the YouTube ID.

You also can't update or delete existing posts using the existing mobile email system that Blogger provides. GBlogger gives you this functionality as well.

I mainly wrote this app with the idea in mind of being able to post to your blog as if you are posting from your desktop or laptop. The mobile emailing system that Blogger provides, as you pointed out, falls very short of that. GBlogger makes up for that lack of functionality.

I'm seeing some issues with the application. It does not support extended character-set (danish special letters æ,ø and å). So it is currently only usefull in countries with the normal character-set. Also a few bugs from time to time. But that said - I love a local application to do my blogging in.

Hmm... that is weird with the extended character sets. It is supposed to work with whatever character set your device uses. I'll take a look into that for the next release of the client.
