Basically nothing is known about the device (even Samsung hasn't announced it so far) except that it looks like a design-upgraded version of the Samsung SGH-i620 Windows Mobile slider smartphones. Since it seems to be an upgraded version of the i620, Windows Mobile 6 Standard is most likely but everything else is in the dust yet."

Ok, the i620 looks just like the i640. I wonder what the differences are? We've talked about the i620 a fair amount and we know that it's only Tri-band. So perhaps this is Quad? I'm also going to dream that this includes 3G, WiFi, and USB2.0. In reality it won't have all of those, but if it can nail down the first two, I'll be one happy camper. One thing that I do notice is that the numeric keypad is changed between these two. Which is really too bad. I like the way Samsung spreads out the number keys so that they are easier to hit with my big thumbs.
