Except this device is running Windows Mobile 6 Standard and will also be UMTS enabled. It is expected to be released in Q4 of this year and will be available in a silver or black finish. The BGR has another picture showing the device opened in QWERTY layout.

Personally, I was holding out for the Samsung Slider, but perhaps this is better phone to upgrade to. Then there's also that Motorola Q9, but I'm starting to like the slider types more and more. What are you guys thinking? Is this a hit or miss device?

I'm still waiting for better pictures. If this thing is so close to being released, why the still fuzzy shots like this was a smuggled photo?

Just wondering why no better photos anywhere.

I'm sure the better pictures will show up in the near future. These look like they were taken with a camera phone - perhaps a MPx220 or something. :D

Considering that Amazon is now showing 2-4 "WEEKS" for shipping, I think the actual phone is embargoed in Area 51.

Hopefully Apple's sudden price drop on the iPhone will make AT&T mad enough to unleash its own new line like this one and the Tilt. Some folks are saying the sudden price drop and new iPod Touch with expanding WiFi use (can you say Starbucks) is not setting well with AT&T nor the rest of the carrier networks. Anyone else notice the strange absence of ANY MENTION of T-Mobile in the Starbucks' announcemet?
