The HTC Cavalier, marketed by HTC as the HTC S630, had cleared the FCC a while back and the original post announcing it can be found over here. Thanks to the latest update by the FCC you can now enjoy the internal-external photos and the user guide. The specs are still the same for this 3G device, and no carrier logo is visible in the photos. You can check out the specs or purchase this device from MobilePlanet for $534.95. [affiliate] The thing that I found interesting was the internal photos that shows the Qualcomm chips all over the circuit board. I wonder if the HTC Cavalier is affected by the import ban on Qualcomm chips?

Well, it's for sale in the US and Canada, it's just not carried by an operator. I wonder if the ban is just on carrier subsidized phones?
