View Full Version : Struggling to get going after wiping the device

This has happened twice now: I've got a working S710 with Exchange ActiveSync to Exchange 2003. I've been testing the remote wipe feature on Exchange and also the device wipe if you get the password wrong N times.

On both occasions when the device has wiped, it has come back to life OK. I've put my ActiveSync details back in, defined the GPRS connection and ... nothing. The device flatly refuses to try to connect to Exchange. I've tested the GPRS settings - IE kicks off just fine. The device connects to my laptop OK but still won't talk to Exchange.

Any ideas? After the first time, I managed to get it going somehow, but I'm really stumped this time. I'm going to try wiping the device again, this time from the built-in tool.

You have to remove the device from Exchange. It won't let it back on until it thinks it's a new device. At least that's my understanding.
