It's called the "Windows Mobile Traveler's Toolkit", but I can't find anything "Windows Mobile" about it, other than the links to the WM site. Am I missing something? Can you run gadgets on WM6?

Yes and no. You can't do it now, but we ran a story where Mel demos gadgets running on Windows Mobile. So it's coming.

As for the gadget you found, it actually runs on the Vista desktop. ;)

lol - yes, I know it's a Vista Gadget! I was trying to figure out why it has "WM" in its name, since I couldn't find anything in the actual Gadget (which I did install first!) that linked it to my Q.

Ah, I see. Sorry about that. I installed it, but it doesn't like Canadian addresses.

Because MS has become such a big cumbersome company there are folks within it that have no clue there is a Windows Mobile brand. The name would indicate it is designed for the mobile Windows user, i.e someone travelling with their Vista laptop.

Actually looks neat, probably stick it on my Vaio TX series, a very mobile Windows platform ;)

Actually, many gadgets could be converted to local HTML pages on to use on your phone via Internet Explorer. Sadly, many use XML which, correct me if I'm wrong, needs to be executed/referenced differently, from a server.

But there are a bunch that do work fine.
