We've had a chance to run through the re-upped device today, and, well, what can we say: it's a faithful implementation of Windows Mobile 6 Standard. As we've said before, Windows Mobile 6 is an extraordinarily incremental upgrade; the new operating system alone probably doesn't warrant rushing out tomorrow and picking up a shiny new Dash, but for existing owners, we can't think of a better way to close out the week."</i> <br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/paxton-20070504-DashWM6.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />I am really excited that the official Dash WM6 update is only a few hours away. So to hold me over til it's here, EngadgetMobile has some great pics of what's to come. I'm so glad the Dash gets first dibs. So for those of you who have waited until the official release, are you going to get it right away or wait to hear feedback from others? As for me? I'll probably fall asleep in my computer chair. Come on, I don't want to waste time walking to my computer

Is it just me, or is there a stuck pixel to the left of the mouse-ears icon in these shots?

Pete, is this an actual carrier relaease in the pic? or a leaked version. Much as I'm looking forward to it, I think I'll wait till I read more user input upon the actual release. Really looking forward to disabling xt9 though!!!! Liked it at first, now, not so much!

Hmmm, the article doesn't state either way. Probably a good idea though to wait for the official release. It's so close, I can taste it - and it tastes good :D

From the wordings it seems like Engadget got a Dash with the new WM6 image. And it seems like the new Dash will be available in stores today as well.

Anyway it is 6:36 AM EST and no signs of the upgrade:

It seems like there's something available. Not sure if it's WM6.
