View Full Version : Disable voice recognition on Moto Q?

I have a Motorola Q and third-party headset from Boxwave.
The mic on the headset has a button to push if a call comes in while listening to music. But if no call comes in and the button is pushed, it launches the voice recognition program and the phone starts declaring "please say a command."
This is annoying when you're walking down the street on a windy day listening to tunes and the wind flaps the wire around and the button hits on you.
Is there any way to disable the voice recognition software, which I never use? Verizon was no help, told me to contact Motorola or Microsoft, which I've attempted, but I'm not holding out hope for a reply.
