I just got a new SCH M600. The software version in the M600 is more stable then the version in my Moto Q.

The sync works well except Activesync screws up non-Roman Unicode characters. I can sync my Q from my own computer and the Unicode syncs both ways. I can send contacts via BT form the Q to the M600 and everything come through. But whenever, I sync the M600 to the other Dell, all the non-Roman characters become ????? in both directions. Wierd.

The M600 is more finicky about installs. Software which installs without problems on the Q is rejected by the M600. Fizz Traveler works on both, eWallet does not.

Well, to be fair, the M600 is a Pocket PC device and the Q is a Smartphone. Most people seem to find Smartphones are more stable than Pocket PC devices. Memory management on the PPC seems to be less effective than on the Smartphone.

Well, it should be the same ActiveSync. There might be some differences in the supported characters on the devices, but I don't really know.

You need to make sure that you are installing the POcket PC version on the M600. eWallet works just fine on the Pocket PC - provided you have the correct version. You might want to check out our sister site Pocket PC Thoughts (http://www.PocketPCThoughts.com)

Yep, what Mike said. eWallet really should install without any trouble at all. If you still have trouble after trying the Pocket PC version drop us a line ( [email protected] ) as I'm sure we can help.

Mike,
The SCH M600 http://review.cetizen.com/sch-m600/is not a Pocket PC phone. The OS is Windows Mobile 2003 SE Version 4.21.1088. I agree that eWallet should install.

The unsupported characters appear to be related to the work computer. My personal Dell laptop supports CJK characters in Windows Explorer and the work Dell laptop does not. I'll try re-installing Asian Language Support.

Marc,
Thanks, I will contact Illium support.
