Another new player in the Smartphone arena – Asus has announced a QWERTY based Windows Mobile Smartphone. It looks to be a little thicker than some of the other keyboard devices on the market today. Hopefully it will make up for that when we see more info on the specs of the device. I like the keypad layout and the space between the keys. There are a number of pictures below, including a comparison photo with some of the new Pocket PCs that Asus has also announced. <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesPR-Large.jpg"><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesPR.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/></a> <!> <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesFrontBottom-Large.jpg"><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesFrontBottom.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/></a> <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesSide-Large.jpg"><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesSide.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/></a> <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesCompareFront-Large.jpg"><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesCompareFront.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/></a> <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesCompareBack-Large.jpg"><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20070212-AsusAriesCompareBack.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/></a>

Would like to see this compared to the Dash. I believe it is as thick as the Dash but looks bigger height and width wise.

Yeah, that would be a nice comparison to see. It looks bigger to me, but it's hard to say for sure.

Maybe its just me, but this screams Tungsten C to me for some reason. BTW...in my book, that's a good thing. I'd love to see specs for this one, and is there a jog dial on it? Nice.
