Hopefully 2007 will be even kinder to us with more innovative hardware and software solutions. On a side note, every time I visit the Windows Mobile website I ask myself the same question over and over: "When will Microsoft stop taunting me with that spiffy looking green homescreen and just release it to the public already?"

Nor do I. It just increases our odds.

Also, why do people running these contests tell us to get our friends to enter? That just lowers our odds of winning. T-Mobile did it the right way when giving away the Dash -- for every friend you told about the contest, you got an additional entry. (Well, it's the right way if your friends don't mind getting more E-mail. :D)

I guess it was a limited time offer as I get an error when I follow the link. I even went to the Microsoft Mobile page and tried clicking on the link there and get the same error. :(

It worked for me just now - probably a DNS error with your ISP?

More likely just Microsoft's Web site being flaky. I experienced similar issues linking people to the free 1-Calc Lite (http://www.qusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7505).
